1. Bible Study

The goal is to spend 10 minutes in Bible Study with God throughout your day. This can occur in one setting at the same time every day, OR you can spread it out over different times in different places. You could do all the time when you wake up, after work, or after the kids go to bed.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach. The best approach is a committed approach. Stay committed and see how God will change you in the next 40 days.

We will heavily rely on the Youversion Bible App. Use the Links below to join the interactive Bible Study.

2. Prayer

Start your day by spending just 10 minutes in intentional prayer with God. Just like Jesus, who made it a habit to find solitude with the Father, we should aim for that special time together.

Don’t worry if prayer feels tough at times; it’s a common challenge for many of us! Remember to stay committed. As 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 reminds us: "Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus."

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here; the key is to stay dedicated! Embrace this journey over the next 40 days, and you might be amazed by how God transforms your life. God really wants to connect with you—check out these awesome ways to pray!
🙏How Jesus taught us to pray:
Matthew 6:9-13
9Pray like this:

Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
10  May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
11  Give us today the food we need,
12  and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
13  And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.

📖ACTS Method
A simple acronym that helps structure prayer:
  • A – Adoration: Praise God for who He is
  • C – Confession: Be honest about your sins
  • T – Thanksgiving: Thank Him for what He’s done
  • S – Supplication: Ask for what you and others need
📌 Why it helps: Keeps your prayer from being just a “wish list.” It makes room for worship, honesty, and gratitude too.
🧡 CONVERSATIONAL PRAYER
Just talk to God like you would to a close friend or loving parent. Tell Him how you feel, what you're struggling with, what made you laugh today.
📌 Why it’s powerful: God is relational. This builds intimacy and honesty, not performance.

3. Excercise

4. DIscipleship

Here are two ways to share the gospel message with some.
⬅️ The video on the left explains the gospel
➡️ The one on the right goes through Justin's story. It introduces a 3 step flow any follower can use Before Jesus, How I meet Him and How Jesus changed me.
Look for a person of peace to share the gospel or your story with. Once they believe in Jesus as the leader and savior of thier life, it's time to disciple them to follow Him.

**Step one:** Jesus teaches that making a new disciple involves helping them obey His commands (Repent - Mark 1:15, Be baptized-John 3:3-5, Follow Me - Matthew 4:19, Love the Lord your God - Mark 12:30, Love Your Neighbor - Mark 12:31, Make Disciples - Matthew 28:18-20).

**Step two:** If the conversation develops, ask these five questions:
• What do you like about this command?
• What challenges you?
• What do you learn about God?
• What do you learn about people?
• Who do you need to tell about this passage, God’s story, or your story?

**Step three:** Take time to pray and ask God through His Holy Spirit how to obey the passage. Write two application statements on an index card. The first: "I will start or stop _______". The second: "I will share this with _______".

**Step four:** Encourage each other to obey and stay accountable.
