When you hear the word surrender, what imagery comes to your mind? For many, it is a little white flag waving back and forth signaling that one side has given up. Words that we associate with surrender could be; give in, yield, submit, give way, defer, back down, etc. These words help paint a picture of weakness but surrendering is an act of faith that Jesus exemplifies and calls His followers to.
